A convincing start to the game from Telford saw confident and controlled play.

Beacon were quick in responding to the pressure from Telford and took an early opportunity only to hit the post, to the relief of Telford. Telford responded by increasing the speed of the game and Erika de Graaf scored first after slotting in a rebound off the keeper (Bella Hart assist). Kate Le Cocq secured the next goal off a ball from the back line again from Bella Hart. A strong strike from a penalty corner hit by Sue Hughes secured the third and final goal from that half (assist Erika de Graaf). Beacon came back to score after the half time break after a scrappy run of play.

In the second half Telford reset to maintain control and played some excellent hockey resulting in a further goal from Bella Hart who applied her pace and excellent finish off an excellently weighted pass in midfield from Sue Hughes. In a run of sustained pressure in the D Eliza Brannon was able to pop one in the left post with the assist again coming from Bella.

An excellent performance with the team really coming together today for 3 points.
