Matt's Bio

Matt has been playing for Telford & Wrekin HC since he was 9 and is one of the most technical players in the club. Matt has played all junior Shropshire age groups and represented the "Midlands" in the Futures Cup at Youth level. He has bags of hockey experience playing 1st XI hockey from a young age playing in the Midlands Prem. He recently represented Shropshire Seniors in the County A Division Championships at Nottingham Hockey Centre in a team that including Masterclass coach, Callum Mackenzie. He is Level 2 qualified and just been accepted onto the Great Britain Hockey ACP Foundation Programme (more info in this link).

1-1 coaching includes access to the following:

- All equipment that Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club have to offer including tyres, slalom poles, and rebound boards.

- In person and online feedback via email.

- Tailored sessions that are specific to the player and what they want to improve, develop and achieve.

- Video analysis that can be reviewed during the session and emailed to parents.

How it works:

- 45 minute session.

- Sessions can be booked in blocks. I.e. Every Friday 4:30pm for 5 weeks.

- Sessions can be booked for up to 4 players max. Allowing siblings or friends to be grouped together.

- Sessions can be rearranged at least 24 hours before the planned session.

- All online feedback will go directly to parents.

- Once booked a Google form will be emailed to allow the sessions to be tailored to the player.

- All communication and payment is handled directly by the coach (Matt) and parents/guardian, not through the hockey club.

Cost:

- £20 for T&WHC Junior members / £25 for non-members

- £10 for additional players, up to 4x max.
