Everyone at Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club is proud to see junior player Tilly T representing the Mercian Marauders Championship team over the weekend.
Tilly was part of the squad that fought their way all the way to the final. In a high-intensity championship match, the Marauders battled to a 2-2 draw, only to narrowly miss out on the trophy following a tense shuffle shootout. Reaching the final is a fantastic achievement for the entire team.
A Journey Back from Injury
What makes Tilly’s involvement particularly pleasing is her journey to get back onto the pitch this season. Having spent the earlier part of the year sidelined with injury, she showed great determination and work ethic to regain her fitness and earn selection for the representative side.
Proud Club Family
Speaking on behalf of the coaching staff, the club’s junior coaches expressed their delight at seeing her back in action:
