The club welcomed back former junior, Great Britain & England player, David Goodfield on Monday evening.
David was back visiting his Father, Chairman of the Club, Gwynne Goodfield who was celebrating being awarded the King's BEM Award for his work for HMRC and as Chairman of Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club.
David commented: "Wow, the club has come on so much and it's fantastic to see so many kids playing hockey. Dad tells me about all the hard work that's going into supporting the juniors, it's fantastic to see it first hand."
David's former 1st Team Captain, Chris Heath said:
"A big thank you to David for popping in and meeting our juniors. He's a busy lad with his international, club and coaching commitments. The players and parents really do appreciate his time and he's a huge inspiration to the whole club, including us oldies who had the pleasure of playing with him as a junior."
