After taking a few minutes to settle into the game, telford played constructively and kept Lichfield at bay until a penalty corner shot fell favourably and Telford found themselves 1-0 down.
Telford maintained their composure and defended well, pulling together and building play under pressure to create chances.
Telford’s patience paid off and Sue Hughes sent an ariel ball which was beautifully controlled by Eliza Brannen who placed the ball past the keeper.
The second goal came from a meticulously crafted set piece where sue Hughes slotted the ball home after a well placed pass from Rachet.
At 2-1 up, Telford managed the game to solidly defend (including a short corner 30s from the end) until the final whistle.
